As @hans already said multiple times, there likely isn’t anybody understanding Esperanto from F-Droid’s core team, so discussions like which language should go to F-Droid.org need to happen in English, F-Droid’s official language used to communicate between its contributors. As your post here in the forum is not written in English, I moved it to the Other languages category as we try to make the popular categories a place for everybody to understand, and that’s mostly possible in the language spoken and understood by the most people: English. I hope you understand.
Simplified Chinese is the first language of literally 1 billion people. All of the current included languages, including Traditional Chinese and Tibetan, have many more native speakers than Esperanto. Polish might have more speakers, but we’re not going to remove any languages that are still valid. The way forward is to fix the technical issues blocking us from adding all the languages. Fighting us on this and ignoring our responses directly takes away developer time from solving this issue.
Why you simple don’t start learning Esperanto? Why should the whole world learn your stupid and illogical* language? Is F-Droid project international or only for english people?
Esperanto haves almost no native speakers, because it should be 2nd language of everyone, not first. Why keep 2 variants of the same language? Most of tibetan speakers speak chinese, translation of F-Droid-client for tibetan is incomplete, translation of base string is almost incomplete, even Firefox is not in tibetan.

La problemo estas teknika naturo. La aǔtomata konstruasistemo de la retpaĝo de F-Droid facile ne povas konstruii la retpaĝo sin sen uzi tro da memoro. Mi unfoje provis ripari tion sed ne sukcesis. Alifoje la projekto verŝajne havus 200 lingvojn.

We Esperantists didn’t win until now (for reference there is the cultural concept within the Esperanto Community of an ultimate victory where Esperanto becomes the worlds bridge language, people who follow that believe are called “finvenkistoj”. The problem is of technical nature. The F-Droid webpage buildsystem can’t construct the webpage without using too much memory at the moment. I tried once to fix that issue but I didn’t succeed. Otherwise the project would probably have 200 languages.
Other people who speak other languages probably don’t like it when Esperantists spit on their
languages. This doesn’t help the Esperanto-Movement. Alternatively if you try that within the
Esperanto-Movement this isn’t friendly, if you know the general idea of gaviali (Esperanto has a couple of words for describing language usage at a Esperanto gathering. One is “krokodili” for speaking one’s own language at a gathering instead of Esperanto. “Gaviali” is for speaking Esperanto in a group where no other Esperanto speaker is present. All these type of behaviors are considered to be rude).

I agree to 100% with you. Actually, I’m interested in languages and also in Esperanto, but with this behavior of rudeness and fighting this made me wonder if learning the language is worth it. Thankfully, your comment showed me that there are also more reflected speakers of the language.

Mi ne mokas pri angla lingvo, mi nur volis montri ke mia gepatra lingvo - la pola - estas same grava kiel la angla, kaj ni (kiel homaro) bezonas ian komunan, facilan kaj neŭtran planitan lingvon por komunikiĝi, kiel Esperanton aŭ Interlingvaon.
Mi proponis portempan solvon: forigi iun alian lingvon kaj aldoni Esperanton.
Kial? Tiu ĉi argumento estas absurda. Se malica aplikaĵo estos aldonita al F-Droid-deponejo, vi ankaŭ ne forigos ĝin? Mi ne volas forigi la tutan lingvon, mi nur volas forigi unu skrib-sistemon - ĉina simpligita kaj tradicia estas la sama lingvo, kun nur alia alfabeto.

Dear @verdulo, your arrogance and ignorance demonstrated in this post makes me wonder why the hell you speak Esperanto? I have met some Esperantists. When people learn that I’m Polish they are happy to mention Białystok, where Esperanto was born, and we have a little chat about Poland and Esperanto. People learn Esperanto because of pure curiosity especially if they are still at a school/university age or because they have multicultural experience, travel a lot, move countries, or have learned a bit of other languages in their lives. These are fantastic people, open-minded, with a lot of wisdom, curiosity. That made me learn some Esperanto too I had never even heard of it when I was living in Poland. Your post clearly demonstrate that you are the type who’s life turns around his nose. I bet that you are too lazy or not smart enough to learn foreign languages but you realize that you cannot go far speaking only Polish. You have picked up Esperanto because it’s easy enough for you and now you force it around like religion. This post reached my email via forum digest and I was really happy to see Esperanto language in F-Droid, until I actually read your post. You are the kind of person who ruins the whole Esperanto idea. I’m happy to see that your are the only rude and short-sighted person in this thread. I hope it was only a moment of frustration and you really don’t think that way. If that’s true, please remember to inspire people, not force Esperanto.
Czemu piszesz w nieswoim (polski), niemoim (też polski) i w nieświatowym (Esperanto, Interlingwa) języku?
Ekzakte tial mi lernas kaj propagas Esperanton - ne ĉiu homo en la mondo parolas mian familian lingvon - la polan - do devas esti iu lingvo por komunikadi, kaj tiu lingvo estu facila (ĉar ne ĉiu estas “laborema kaj lerta en lingvolernado”) kaj neŭtra.
Mi ververe kredas, ke malangligante (tradukante al Esperanto) programaron mi faras ion utilan kaj gravan. Ĉu tio jam estas religio, mi ne scias…
Kie ekzakte mi estis malĝentila? Mi provis paroli en la angla, sed aliaj ne provis paroli en Esperanto aŭ pola lingvo. Mi prezentis argumentojn pri kiel aldoni Esperanton al F-Droid-retejo (vidu mian antaŭan afiŝon), sen respondo.
Kial mi ne povas incitiĝi (?) - mi laboris pri esperantigi la retejon, sed mia traduko plue ne estas videbla. Mi ne diris “de nun laborlingvo de F-Droid estu eo”. Mi ne scias kiel inspiri homojn al lerni Esperanton. Nuntempe anglalingvanoj devigas al ĉiuj aliaj paroli sian lingvon.
Nun anstataŭ plendi kaj sensukcese batali mi planas pluigi traduki alian malfermkodan projekton, iam poste mi pluigos revenos traduki la F-Droid-retejon kaj batalos denove…
