Why are some apps not movable to SD card?

I observed that, while it is possible to move orfox to SD card, Fennec as well as other firefox versions limit that possibility.

Exactly, what is the reason for this? And can this be fixed in future releases so that it would be helpful for those using resource-constrained phones.

They need to be able to cope with the issues arising from that move (slower speed, latency, etc), so extra coding…
