Precisely, after over 1 Billion IDs were leaked, we really need to start pressuring companies and governments to abolish Age Verification & ID Verification outright, alongside banning Facial Scans and over privacy violating verification methods. Even Phone Numbers shouldn’t be used anymore because they were leaked in the IDMerit hack!

As far my experience goes, Gitlab is a lot more demanding for information then Github.
If you register with Tor, they always ask for a phone number.

I just wanted to mention that this issue was brought up in the latest episode of Late Night Linux. They explicitly mention f-droid and the keepandroidopen.org website.

Looks like the US Federal government is gaslighting Age Verification, and that’s a horrible thing. The US Federal government has officially become degenerate and rogue. So now F-Droid is not just fighting Google now, they are fighting the US Federal government because F-Droid doesn’t support Age Verification at all.
No flipping idea or don’t flipping care? Go back to the statement where you thought I was being supportive of Google and click on it. It takes you somewhere. That reference above is relevant. It is one of the reasons why laws in the US are going the way they are. It is no accident. Even though the populace is against these legislations, the lawmakers do not care as they are not acting for them. Rather, they are acting for their lobby, who stand to make big in surveillance contracts. Google is a part of that. That is the real reason they do not want F-Droid.
