Why Infomaniak apps in F-droid?

I was just about to set up Infomaniak account when I noticed the description:

Anti-features

  • Uses or promotes paid network service
  • Tracking or reporting user activity

That’s true. Exodus Privacy says their apps like mail or drive both contain 2 trackers: Sentry crash reporting (which can be understood) and Matomo (Piwik) - open source analytics (but why?). TrackerControl confirms that.

I’ve read couple of times about strict rules of F-droid so why such apps in repo?

Anyone present here uses them?

The apps are FOSS, we flag those so you know before you install.

I thought trying Infomaniak services but their representative spokesperson made controversial comments over new discussed Swiss surveillance bill.
