Why F-Droid spends resources to build this app?

Sorry if I’m wrong but it looks like it’s just a joke app and has no real function.

This application serves as a minimal keyboard implementation example, so it can be beneficial for developers who want to create their own keyboards.

I see potential for a ‘bbbbb’ app in the near future!

Okay, but it’s already built.
What’s the point of updating it? :man_shrugging:

Sure, but what does that have to do with building it? the source code will still exist without F-Droid building the app.

It is a joke app, surely. But also, once set up the checking for updates is automatic and the build itself takes just over 1 minute: log: io.github.dkter.aaaaa:3 - F-Droid Monitor

So it’s not really that much of a resource spend  Besides, the main slowness of F-Droid updates is not the amount of apps to build.

Someone put in the work to create this, so at least one person finds value in it. Personally I think small/“joke” projects are at least a good example of a minimal app to learn from.

Next update should include a button to get “rick-rolled”…

Okay, got it xd
