When updating on F-droid one app shows up as "Successfully installed" and "Downloading" in two entries in the Updates tab

My device is CPH2381 (it’s a oneplus website link, don’t click if you don’t want to go there) running Android 14. Here are 2 screenshots of the issue.

(was not able to add the second screenshot because my account is new)

Is this a known issue?

Here is the second screenshot

Go to F-Droid app page, upper right menu, check “allow beta”, then update to 2.0

Test more

I did that @Licaon_Kter , wow the UI has changed so much. Would I have to downgrade a few apps to test?

The global search functionality seems to be broken in beta, if I search for the monocles app it doesn’t show up, but if I select “Communication” from Categories → Messaging → and then search for monocles, it does show up. I have it installed as well. Should I make a seperate topic for this?

You can expand versions and install older versions of random apps

No such issues here on multiple Android versions (11,13,15,16,17) and devices.

Buuuut… some users did complain about broken search.

Can you try a global search, let it go for some minutes and then go to Settings, Debug log and mail that to team at f-droid.org ?

No problems with the beta version w.r.t updating, thanks a bunch @Licaon_Kter

Sure, I will try a few times to confirm that it’s not my internet connection. If nothing works, I will email the debug logs
