What means 'fcr' in Conversations' build number?

#1

Hi there,

who know what the fcr stands for in the two latest builds of conversations?
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/eu.siacs.conversations/

Version 2.2.5+fcr (277) - Added on 2018-07-06
Version 2.2.4-fcr (276) - Added on 2018-07-02

Ping @Licaon_Kter

(and post must be longer then 20 characters)

#3

F - F-Droid
C - include emoji Compat lib (for Android 7 and older)
R - Release version

#5

@Licaon_Kter, thanks a lot for the answer. I guess there is only a postfix like this one, if some changes had been applied by F-Droid team (like exchanging/adding the emoji compat library).

#6

No, that’s upstream: https://github.com/siacs/Conversations/blob/master/build.gradle#L100

F-Droid does not modify anything.

#7

@Licaon_Kter, now I have got it. Thanks again for the link and explanation!

F-Droid does not modify anything.

Very good
Now I also understand why I didn’t find any information about it here at F-Droid.

doak
