I want to use a good VPN for my Android mobile. Can I use a free VPN or try some premium one?
the best one is the one you host
based on Wireguard probably
It depends on what you want out of it.

For 2025 and any subsequent year as long as VPN services don’t disappear from the face of the earth:
Search calmly among the FREEMIUM services and you’ll surely find the VPN that suits you best.
Follow the trial and error method. There’s no other way. For me, a good VPN is simply one that, at least via TCP protocol, demonstrates a connection stability that’s worthy of nuclear bombs. That is, if you observe that the connection continues without dropping for 72 hours straight, that’s a VPN. Everything else, is misleading and self-serving advertising for “PREMIUM” services.
Valid points. Also I agree on the concept as not everyone can manage their own VPN or DNS. But one can surely try OpenVPN as well and its client (bug filled) and still try. I had purchased Hotspot 18 years back for a lifetime and I still have 38 years left for its expiry. So I use it when and if only I require it via OpenVPN. That time I was not into OSS or things, so judge me not.
Thank you for your understanding. I’m glad you’re doing well with HotSpot VPN. And I hope those remaining 38 years of your license prove beneficial to you.
Please, allow me a little, innocent joke without any malice:
38 years of license, ¡my goodness! When the dinosaur wakes up, ¿will it still be there?.. ()
When I did buy, they were giving a lifetime, which had 3 options. I do not recall which I did choose, but I can see it shows me 38 years left. I just hope I live that long.
