Daniel was not aware of the fork, what triggered him to ask the devs to change the name was the fact that users came to the Conversations support channel to ask about the app.
So, if you fork an app, you want people to ask upstream? To think that upstream wrote it? Or you want to make sure that they come to you?
What makes your fork unique then? Why did you bother forking if you don’t bother to name it properly?
