Will it break the auto update if I reference versionCode in build.gradle.kts from other file?

This is how I would like to setup my project: GitHub - sadellie/unitto at 7e178cede6663594a8b582d0e56e3ccba0d1fcda

Version code (the actual value) is in libs.versions.toml

This variable is referenced in build.gradle.kts
