The best app for international calls?

Hello, everyone.

Please tell me what you think is the best app for international calls.
I mean an app that doesn’t require a phone number (such as Signal).
Please write your recommendations and experiences.

Maybe it’s Conversations Conversations | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository and your Prosody server https://prosody.im/, or something better…

To ensure that call quality is stable, high, and, of course, secure…

Yeah that works fine for many.

See snikket.org if you like Docker, it’s a packaged prosody so you can still use Conversations, Dino, Monal as clients.

(The snikket apps are old forks of Conversations and Siskin, better avoid them for now, fyi)

Thank you for your recommendation. Yes, I know this service, but I wanted to understand what other alternatives there are, such as Jitsi https://jitsi.org/ , Jami https://jami.net/ , Briar https://briarproject.org/, or maybe something else…

It’s still XMPP, only conference, plenty of free instances you can use

p2p, not that great in my testing, do offer feedback

p2p over Tor, no calls
