Honestly, why are some people getting individual ages wrong? I’m 30 years old, yet somebody said I was 12, how in the world is that even possible? I was born in 1996, and I know that because I kept up to date with consoles pretty quickly, from the N64 in 1999, the PS1 in the early 2000s, the PS2 & GameCube a bit later, the PSP (later modded) & PS3 around 2007, the Xbox around 2012 (later modded), the Xbox 360 in 2013, the DS around the 2010s, the 3DS in 2015, the Wii U & Xbox One in 2016, which eventually led to my gaming Dark Age in 2021, which has lifted in 2025. Now, seeing all this, I am definitely at least 30 years of age.
Should there be some sort of way for individuals to apologize for getting somebody’s age wrong? Honestly, people shouldn’t stop communicating with others because they insulted an individuals age, there should be a way for such individuals to apologize for their insulting response.
I know this is completely irrelevant to F-Droid, but honestly after encountering that for the first time, I got openly furious. Nobody insults the age of somebody, especially if the insulted individual suffers Autism, like I do.
Should there be additional rules in place on F-Droid to avoid age discrimination and age-related insults, even if they’re off-platform?
I am also sorry for the rant, but, I rant when I get angry over something, that’s just my typical response to stress.
