First of all I’d like to ask you, F-droid’s community, if you’re present on some IM media that I could join? Matrix? Telegram? What else?

I’m making that question in order to avoid bothering you with short Q&A that I’m going to ask…now.

What’s the difference between F-droid’s and IzzyOnDroid’s apps?

Why F-droid’s are somewhat bigger?

The current example that I’m checking is CoMaps, but there are even more.

F-droid: CoMaps is 58.4 MB

IzzyOnDroid: CoMaps is 53.7 MB

Where that difference comes from?

What’s wrong with FluffyChat?

Why it has grown twice and why the size doesn’t even match the size of the original Github’s app?

In short, not all repos hold the same APKs

Some are built reproducible so they match, others are not and even not the same flavor, eg., fully FLOSS In F-Droid vs with proprietary libs in Izzy
