[RFP] Help needed: Submitting MemoFlow to F-Droid (GitLab registration issues)

Hi everyone,

I am the maintainer of MemoFlow, an open-source project, and I would like to submit it to F-Droid.

I recently contacted the F-Droid team via email, and they suggested I reach out here for assistance. My main challenge is that I am currently unable to register a GitLab.com account due to regional restrictions (the registration flow requires phone/card verification that I cannot complete).

Since GitLab is the standard way to submit new apps, I was wondering if any community member could help me by opening a Merge Request (MR) on my behalf?

I have already prepared the build metadata and included the .fdroid.yml file in my repository root to make the process as easy as possible.

App Details:

  • App Name: MemoFlow

  • Application ID: com.memoflow.hzc073

  • Source Code: https://github.com/hzc073/memoflow

  • License: GPL-3.0-only

  • Latest Release Tag: v1.0.14

  • Build Metadata: .fdroid.yml is included in the repo root.

If anyone is willing to help or has any advice on alternative submission paths, I would be very grateful. I’m also happy to provide any additional information needed for the review.

Thank you for your time and support!

Best regards, [hzc073]

This post is a couple of months old. Should we package com.memoflow.hzc073 or com.memoflow.hzc073.pro? It seems all your new releases are com.memoflow.hzc073.pro. Let me know what you would like packaged and we can get started
