Hello, I would like to propose the introduction of a Recommendation System within F-Droid. Such feature could recommend to user A apps which were installed by other users with similar set of other installed apps like user A. Think of it like the way IMDB recommends movies.
The implementation of this feature would involve F-Droid being able to access information about which apps are installed on a user’s device to make these recommendations.
To respect user privacy and choice, we could also include an option that allows users to enable or disable this recommendation feature. This way, users can decide whether they want to share their installed app information and receive app recommendations.
