Recommend me some apps

It’s a fun way to kill time for sure

Consider adding DroidFS and Photok in File encryption.
Infinity in Reddit, more stable and feature-rich than Slide by far.
PCAPdroid in Network Monitor as Net Monitor is deprecated.

I added DroidFS, Transportr, and PCAPdroid.
I added Infinity but I didn’t remove Slide. As either it was bugged or broken but I couldn’t locally save a subreddit without an account.

Please can you explain why you decided not to include Photok? thank you.

Also: GitHub - offa/android-foss: A list of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for Android – saving Freedom and Privacy.

@Morgoth
DroidFS appears to have all the features of Photok with the added benefit of being standard gocryptfs.
ie. being able to trivially access the files from any Linux computer too.

Although Photok is a more simplified workflow that might be easier to use, not enough to justify both imo.

Arcticons, for making your phone look less distracting :^)

Etesync if you want to have a great app to keep your contacts and calendars all remotely synced with end-to-end encryption and without Google. I’ve been using it for years. You can support the developers directly by signing up for an account on their server or you can even self-host your own server.

how did u miss Music | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository under media lol. it’s the best i could find. vanilla (which IS in your list) was my best before i found that one.

Why the app openboard for keyboard is not recommended?

How many keyboards can one test/like/have?

Is because in divestos are recomended flixboard and anysoftkeyboard, but not openboard

“Recommend me some apps”

Bible Multi Apps, because there is no more time left.

It’s just recommendations. Can’t be all inclusive. Doesn’t mean that what’s not included in the list is unworthy or anything.
Just a guide. If you find something better or more your speed, go for it.

Oh thanks, this list was also useful to me.

I have ASK, OpenBoard, FlorisBoard, SimpleBoard, SystemKeyboard. Otherwise in my rooted OP I had only ASK.

Frex (Fractal viewer) - Frex | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

Are we deciding upon our mood or which one has the best Clipboard??

I like both Openboard and Floris board and had both installed at one time to decide which i liked better. Openboard is more stable I believe, and they recently added a Clipboard manager as well. So it’s the winner.
Main reason for even bothering with other keyboards is because the AOSP board doesn’t have a dedicated number row. Lol
Neither have internet permission as well which is good.

Main F-Droid apps, Simple Gallery, App Manager, Quillnote, Standard Notes, OandBackupX, Disabler, Infinity, Termbot, Octodroid, Interceptor-NG, WifiAnalyzer, Scrambled Exif, PCAPdroid, SagerNet, Invizible Pro, Bromite, Fennec, Simple Calender, Newpipe, Telegram FOSS, KeePassDX, PDF Viewer, Organic Maps, Forecastle, Just Player, VLC, K9 Mail, Vinyl, Syncthing Fork, Transdroid, Tremotesf and while it may not be updated anymore, LanXchange is still good for transferring the random file between devices in a pinch.

There’s actually many more neat apps iv ran acrossed/used that i cant think of right now.
Im currently trying to rid my phone of apps not used enough to consider needed, it’s hard though.
