… pissed me off. Switching search engine without any warning is not good style.
Completely removing Google, the old default, from the search engines list while leaving gems like Bing in the list is Microsoft style if not worse.
Latest 116.2 will bring Google back, this was something overlooked during code cleanup.
The Search engine restyling is all Mozilla though

Meanwhile, in case it’s useful for you, you can use !g on DDG to redirect a search to Google, the same for !yt (YouTube), !wr (WordReference), !twitter, !archive, etc., I guess even !archwiki
Very convenient in my experience.

Good idea, although ideally all of that should work directly from Fennec without requiring additional hoops and hops
