Quillpad ~ This is Not a Valid https url

I have just setup NextCloud on my server and trying to connect Quillpad to it. This is strictly an internal server. I am using a non-secure ip (my server’s address and NextCloud’s port). I keep getting the above error message.

Is there a workaround for not having an HTTPS certificate?

Why not generate a certificate anyway? A self signed one
