I ran into a practical issue recently. I wanted to check my FAB Bank balance on a Sunday, but the my nearby branch in sharjah was closed and their mobile options didn’t update quickly. I had no easy way to confirm my balance and had to wait until the next business day.
I mainly use open-source apps and prefer privacy-friendly tools, so I’m looking for a secure method to monitor balances on Android. Are there any FOSS apps or approaches that let you check banking information safely, maybe even offline or without sending data to large servers?
I’m also curious if anyone has tried using Termux or other F-Droid apps for tasks like this. Any guidance on faster and safer options for checking bank balances should be shared.
