I do hope the clever contributors on here can help.As stated in title I have a firestick second generation os 5.2.9.5 but am unable to load proton vpn getting parse error I think because compat of os and proton vpn latest version. Can someone please tell me what version of proton vpn I should load, apk, to provide vpn on this device. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Load on what Android version? Which architecture?
Sorry I thought I mention in previous message, the operating system and version were as was mentioned, this what is used in the firestick from Amazon, hope that helps to clarify

While FireOS and Android OS versions are not normally equivalent, for version 5 they are.
This version requires Android 8.0 or newer.
so no, protonvpn can’t be used
A potentially superior (depending on your own requirements) workaround would be to install Proton VPN on your router.
