Please suggest a decent RSS app

Hi,

I’ve been experimenting with a few RSS reader apps available for my Nexus 7 2nd generation, but I couldn’t find one that my fits my needs.

Basically what I’m looking for is:

  • Can detect an RSS feed and offers to read it in app.
  • Can display HTML links
  • Can organize the entries in a folder.

The closest app to my needs id Flym. I can create folders is Flym but cannot move entries to the folders.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have an instance of TinyTiny RSS with an app for Android. But you need a server.

Tried spaRSS? It’s based on flym.

I discovered Feeder also lately, but did not check it out yet.

But this exactly like Flym. You can create a folder but you can’t move RSS feeds into it. Unless I’m missing something.

Feeder is really too minimalist.

Not sure if this is what you are referring to, but you can group RSS feeds from the edit button on the top left of the sidebar. What I don’t like is that you can’t retract the folders afterwards, so all the entries are shown on the sidebar.
But this would be something worth reporting as a feature request, if development is still active for any of the aforementioned projects.
