Only 2 Proton apps are foss? Is Proton as good and private as they say?

I’ve found Proton pass and Proton VPN in F-Droid. Are they only ones Foss of their apps?

Is Proton really as good or did they make another closed ecosystem aside of Goo?

All Proton apps are Open Source.

The issue is that for some reason Proton does not make FOSS flavors of (all) their apps which usually have non free Google blobs in them. Usually for the purpose of delivering notifications or IAP to GMS users. However obviously these blobs are not free software thus not only do these apps not meet the F-Droid inclusion policy but also does not make them fully FOSS either.

So still definitely a step above Google. But definitely not as good as they could be.
