I wanted to show you guys my loadout for Obtainium, and the explanation for these, also worth discussing about.
- Obtainium itself, obviously Obtainium links to itself, and for good reason, Shizuku Compatible and is an App Installer.
- NeoStore, an excellent F-Droid Repository access application, is also Shizuku Compatible and is probably the most feature-rich of the alternatives, though it’s best on Android 14+, it will work (Albeit unoptimized) on Android 13 & 13 Go.
- Accrescent, this is a natural first for F-Droid Forums, this has applications that F-Droid as a whole might not have, including AppVerifier (I added that separately), which pairs well with Obtainium, however it isn’t Shizuku Compatible…
- Aurora Store, Google Play Repository access application, also is Shizuku Compatible and helps keep Google Play Store access available if you’re wanting to avoid Age Verification entirely. Application Installer as well.
- Termux, Linux/Android terminal application/program that is very helpful, although not officially Shizuku Compatible, it can be made compatible by using Shizuku itself and a particular command to link them together. This application is really powerful, so I labeled it as Potentially Dangerous.
- ReVanced Manager, this application is not in any F-Droid Repository, nor is it in Accrescent. This application allows patching of applications, it currently isn’t Shizuku Compatible, but I do hope it gets it soon.
I chose these applications to ensure accessibility, and even be able to install applications going into 2027 & beyond (If Google still goes through with Developer Verification, that topic exists on the Forum already), your loadout might be different, but hey, you can discuss other good loadouts if you want.
