FMD is now publishing developer-signed APKs in a custom repository. (The APKs on F-Droid are not (yet) migrated.) Notably, FMD has published detailed documentation and scripts about their experience of using a Nitrokey HSM. Hopefully, this helps other Android developers to sign their apps with hardware keys!
