it’s important to note that none of the data presented in the Discover Stories or Discover Sites dialog is trained on your personal data, like feeds that other people subscribe to in relation to any particular site. All of the data is extracted and grouped by the content of the RSS feed’s title, description, and the titles of the first few stories.

I don’t understand what the state of Newsblur discover is.
It needs a new version? It’s already integrated but not enabled?
2 features:
- Discover Stories (premium only feature) to know more about that specific topic from various other news sources. It shows all of the related stories, segmented by the folders that a site is a part of. This folder control allows you to filter down to an individual site and up to every feed you subscribe to when finding related stories.
- Discover Sites (free for all) it’s an infinite scroll of related sites, showing the most recent five stories. You can try any site or add that site to your feed. While scrolling the related sites it shows you stats dialog which is about [Stories per month, Stories per day, Daily distribution of stories, authors, titles and how many likes/dislikes they got from all NewsBlur users]
The feature is already live on website version but not yet on their Android app (at least I don’t see in latest F-Droid version)
Basically the same thing I do on my Betterbird feeds section.
