I got Netguard v2.288 via F-Droid. Now it was removed. The newest version is 2.287. Should I downgrade? Is there a problem with 2.288? In Github the v2.288 is marked as “stable” and the v2.287 as “beta”.

It was removed to it can be rebuilt with a modern signature that works on Android 11 as well. Then all further build attempts failed so far with f-droid internal errors. If 2.288 works for you, that everything is fine.
