Oh well, that’s a bummer. I wonder if Graphene or Lineage could find a way to circumvent that. I don’t think they will in any case, as not to be found liable for any “accidents”.
My Pixel came with a 90 count of battery cycles -.-‘’ a little too much “testing” but ok…
It seems like in light usage a charge might hold for 2 days. It will still be left to see how much it will last when the “reduction” happens.
Now, while I know this is just companies being greedy and wanting to force people for older devices into buying newer ones, I have to say, I do feel like the device gets warmer than it should. So maybe there is some safety in the reduction.
@SkewedZeppelin I understand you, but let’s be honest these tactics will inevitably come for the 7, 8 9… Still, thanks ofr the great suggestion I am loving Graphene so far. I did have to install another launcher and a different set of icons, sure,it looked awful… But other than that, it works like a charm. And I just fell in love with the Web installation thing
