You misunderstood. It’s not about calibration but compass lagging when it turns. No other compass app does that.
This may be the OEM fragmentation. I already faced some user feedback on these Realme devices in the past about the compass rotation

@bottlecap If you’re able to fix this issue yourself, feel free to open a PR against the MBCompass-site repo - it’s open source too. I’m currently busy working on the MBCompass v2 proposal.
