Mi Band 6 with GadgetBridge recognition problem

Hell Ow People!
I had such a hope for your GB app, bc all known apps ask for an account and private data. What a drag… What an arrogance…
I just got band 6 and I exited like a baby.
However, no, it’s not recognized…
I restarted a couple of times my phone, checked GPS - but no luck.
Meanwhile, my old Band 2 get recognized instantly.
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

I have Galaxy 32 5G Android 11
Ah yeah, the phone itself has no problem to see and pair with Band 6, but the app doesn’t.

6 seems to require a special process and a rooted device.

Where does it say that?
There is a non-root method that was still working fine with Band 5.

Band 6 requires a Mi account and installing Mi Fit before pairing it with Gadgetbridge.
