Massive malware attack on github, impact on F-droid apps

Hi !

Just a noobish question, I just saw on twitter that there is an ongoing attack on thousands of github repos (https://twitter.com/stephenlacy/status/1554697077430505473), and I wanted to know if the amazing people running the infrastructure of f-droid can :

  • see if there is f-droid apps are concerned (i have no idea if it is the case or if it is possible)
  • if yes, do anything like disabling download for users
  • warn user that are concerned (as there is no account, maybe something like “you are using this version that is infected by a malware”)

This just looks like typo squatting and it also looks like all of them have been removed.

No actual projects were hacked from my cursory read.
