Can you please make F-Droid Basic available as an APK download too? I just updated it and it broke the app. I uninstalled with the intention of reinstalling, as this is often a quick way to fix apps broken by updates. Then I realised I’d installed the Basic version of F-Droid using the vanilla version. So now I’m not sure what to do.

Thanks, I didn’t realise that. That’s sufficient to solve my current problem.
But what I meant is, the ‘Download’ button on F-Droid.org only offers the vanilla F-Droid client. For people who’ve just obtained an older device, for which F-Droid Basic might be the more suitable client, it would be good if that Download button offered that as an option too 
BTW I love the new interface in the latest version of F-Droid Basic. Great work, to everyone who contributed to this 
Basic is not “for old devices” lol
It has less features, true, but it aims to be streamlined, the rest is just the same: same codebase, same requirements etc
