Magisk seems to not work correctly

After Update the Magisk icon is missing and f-droid tells me the app versiob seems 1 instead of 26.1

If I tick the app I get a magisk download request. The Download seems not working.

I have the same problem.

This seems to be the problem:
05-27 19:14:34.714 1483 1592 W PackageManager: Existing package com.topjohnwu.magisk signatures do not match newer version; ignoring!
05-27 19:14:34.717 1483 1592 D PackageInstallerSession: Marking session 1809377734 as failed: INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE: Existing package com.topjohnwu.magisk signatures do not match newer version; ignoring!

I will try the github version now. - EDIT: it works! Restoring pre-magisk partitions (boot in my example); installing apk from gh; rooting

It’s not f-droid build problem, in my case .apk from github has the same issue with endless/unworking download.

Version 26.1 is live (rebuilt), can you retest?
