Magisk seems to not work correctly

After Update the Magisk icon is missing and f-droid tells me the app versiob seems 1 instead of 26.1

If I tick the app I get a magisk download request. The Download seems not working.

I have the same problem.

This seems to be the problem:

I will try the github version now. - EDIT: it works! Restoring pre-magisk partitions (boot in my example); installing apk from gh; rooting
