Luanti isn't graphically stable in 5.15.0, the update might need to be pulled from the F-Droid repository

Possibly, but Luanti worked relatively fine on both of them, as 5.14.0 worked flawlessly (With a pardon for MineClonia, which it’s recent update made it dangerously unstable, forcibly crashing Luanti after a certain period of time), and performance wise, 5.15.0 is just the same, but graphically speaking, 5.14.0 had no issues apart from little mod errors (Especially Unbreaking on MineClonia & What is This in certain situations), but moving to 5.15.0 triggered graphical glitches on various mods and the game doesn’t warn the player about the graphical errors, which is really saddening. Hence why F-Droid should pull the 5.15.0 Luanti update, reverting back to 5.14.0 until Luanti’s developers can solve this graphical nightmare across the entire platform.

Would be worthwhile visiting the Mineclonia git page and reporting any errors so they can be fixed asap, and if possible visiting the minetest git page and reporting an actual issue for your device by supplying all available information.

I have no account on GitHub, nor do I have one on CodeBerg. So you can forget that plan…

I read in the Luanti forums that certain mods were responsible for your graphical glitches and not Luanti itself, would it be possible to list the mods you have installed now so we can do a deep dive into the problem?

Even if I did that, others could slip under the radar.

i am also an andoid user on a low end device. i have a helio g35 in my phone with 6gb ram (usually 3-4gb available) and, while i only looked around in a cloned install, i did not saw any of such graphical issues. i tried minetest game and outside that i spawned inside the terrain i didnt notice anything bad at all.

edit:asked ai (found no site which has both models listed) to compare the summit 5g you have and my armor 15 and your is higher end, has better capabilities (except ram) so modernness probably isnt the problem.

They are working on patching it now. So 5.15.1 will release soon and correct the glitch.

(I am now labeling this as Solved!)

Addendum: They are struggling to patch the glitch. The new updates of the patching progress are showing mixed results, so 5.15.1 could take longer to release than expected.

5.15.1 is now out, but the root cause is unclear. They desperately need more info to stamp out the bug before 5.16.0 ever releases.

5.15.1 is now on F-Droid, so now, if any moderators are present, this topic can officially be closed, because 5.15.1 corrected the graphical glitch & it even boosted performance.
