some time ago there was a red warning in the description of linphone through the f-droid app saying either not all the code is free or it promotes non free software but it seems the warning is not there anymore. Is that linphone changed or f-droid policies changed?
Most likely you meant the NonFreeDep mark. That was removed in
due to upstream changes.
