Jami: current version != newest version

Looking at Files · master · F-Droid / Data · GitLab, the newest version is 20190103 but Current Version:20180805 is configured there. This makes the F-Droid-Client download the older version. Is there a reason for that which I don’t understand?

Known issue: cx.ring (GNU Jami): enable automatic update check & upgrade (#1257) · Issues · F-Droid / Data · GitLab

If there is no automatic update, why nobody does an manual update?
Another problem is that the current version of Jami (new name of Ring) is 20190408 (see https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cx.ring&hl=en_US) and F-Droid doesn’t have this version nor any infos about that.

They do: New Jami revision (!4731) · Merge requests · F-Droid / Data · GitLab

Oh sorry, didn’t noticed that…
