El viejo Android Keyboard (AOSP) dispone de una maravillosa opción de escritura que jamás he visto en ningún otro teclado: si utilizamos el teclado AOSP mediante cualquier dispositivo “TV Box/Media Player”, podemos teclear sobre el mismo y escribir lo que sea con el mando a distancia suministrado con el equipo. Haciendo uso de la rueda de direcciones (arriba, abajo, izquierda, derecha) y del botón central de confirmación (control de operación), podemos pulsar las teclas de dicho teclado sin tener que apartar en ningún momento la vista de la pantalla en la que lo hayamos presentado. La ejecución de la escritura así, quizás sea la más lenta de cuántas encontremos posibles, pero al mismo tiempo puede ser la más cómoda y satisfactoria de practicar con este tipo de dispositivos.
Con cualquier otro teclado para Android, podemos comprobar que ninguno está desarrollado para interactuar con el mando a distancia de los dispositivos “TV Box/Media Player”. Ninguno tiene la gracia, concedida de la manera que sea, del aparentemente poco versátil y funcional Android Keyboard (AOSP). Sí, cualquier otro teclado virtual puede ser también “toqueteado” mediante el uso de un ratón o de un teclado físico e inalámbrico adicional asociado al dispositivo “TV Box/Media Player”; pero al carecer de la prodigiosa capacidad de interacción del AOSP todos ellos son los que en realidad continúan incompletos e inacabados.
¿Alguien sabe de algún teclado para Android parecido al “Gboard” que, entre otras tantas funciones, nos permita teclearlo directamente con el mando a distancia de cualquier “TV Box/Media Player”?

The old Android Keyboard (AOSP) has a wonderful typing option that I have never seen on any other keyboard: if we use the AOSP keyboard through any “TV Box/Media Player” device, we can type on it and write whatever we want with the remote control supplied with the device. Using the directional wheel (up, down, left, right) and the central confirmation button (operation control), we can press the keys on this keyboard without ever having to take our eyes off the screen on which we have presented it. Writing in this way, may be the slowest of all the possible methods, but at the same time it can be the most comfortable and satisfying way to practice with this type of device.
With any other Android keyboard, we can verify that none are designed to interact with the remote control of “TV Box/Media Player” devices. None of them have the grace, granted in whatever way, of the seemingly unversatile and dysfunctional Android Keyboard (AOSP). Yes, any other virtual keyboard can also be “tapped” using a mouse or an additional physical and wireless keyboard associated with the “TV Box/Media Player” device; but lacking the prodigious interaction capabilities of AOSP, they are all the ones that actually remain incomplete and unfinished.
¿Does anyone know of an Android keyboard similar to “Gboard” that, among other functions, allows us to type directly with the remote control of any “TV Box/Media Player”?
