Is there any FOSS infrared remote controller app?

It’s convenient to control TV or AC with phone. But I can’t find a FOSS one to do that.

There is a library and something that looks deprecated. Recently Huawei and Xiaomi released some models with IR-Blaster so I hope this topic gains some interest.
