is there a way to run a android app on a windows7 in a way that it can access files and services from windows?

I know you can do some things in Android Studio but I don’t know the details of how to work that piece of software.

I run some apps using andorid-x86 on virtualbox:

There are also other andorid virtualbox images out there.
