Is there a no-phone-home alternative to RustDesk?

I was very disappointed to read the anti-features baked into RustDesk.

(I don’t see a way to sandbox it, at both ends, so that the data goes nowhere.)

There’s zero reason for anyone to know when I connect, from where I connect, to where I connect, and for how long I’m connected. Shame on them for imposing this anti-privacy ‘feature’.

Is there an alternative that behaves itself?

I want to be able to connect to my home server (from my Android phone, and also my MX Linux laptop) - to access the GUI on my security system, and other apps/programs, essentially as a terminal.

The phone app that comes with the NVR looks a bit questionable re. security.

Thanks.

Netguard can block random addresses, merge a file as hosts block

on PC you can update hosts to 0.0.0.0 whateveraddresstheyhave

Sigh, I’ll add that to the learning list. Thanks!

Why can’t they just respect user privacy?
