Is having `LICENSE`, but not per-file license headers, a problem?

This app is GPL3-only, but I am also interested in the more general answer.

If LICENSE exists, but the source files lack the license headers, is this a problem for F-droid? I am asking because the FSF requires to add a header to each source file stating author and license. But I could not find any mention in fdroiddata / rfp / forum threads, so I guess not?

We don’t have such requirement.

Legally it may be very dangerous not to have a copyright notice… not recommend.
