Increased file size of APKs

Hi there,

On Dec 25th I downloaded Conversations Version 1.23.3 here: Conversations | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository. The size of the APK on my disk is 4.8MB.
Today I returned to above page and downloaded Version 1.23.4 and was surprised that the size had increased to 11.6MB.

Now looking at the old version 1.23.3 at the link above again the size has also increased to 11.6MB.

Any explanation for the increase in size? Has the old version 1.23.3 been rebuild, and why?

Size increased because of emoji font they added in, IIRC. You can check
with changelog which version it happened.

Apologies, my fault. F-droid wants me to download the f-droid app and I accidentally did that by pressing the big blue button. :wink:
