Hi @Licaon_Kter thanks for the reply and for the help. I have a problem, I already installed the f-droid app version 1.12.1 but the applications don’t appear and it stays blank and when I reload the app I get a box like the screenshot shows
thank you very much it worked. Now all the applications come out. I have a question, I wanted to install duckduckgo but I get an error when installing. and it tells me that I have to have the old version, not the most recent, although Google Play is no longer compatible with my tablet and several non-compatible applications, I installed an app called ffUpdater in the f-droid app and it installed it without a problem but I wanted update Brave Browser but it didn’t update to the latest version as shown in the screenshot
mmm… it may be a bit of a disappointment that you can’t install Chromium browsers. I noticed in the F-Droid app that there isn’t any Chromium-based browser. But I also did a little more research in the Brave Community, which is working on GitHub to support it on F-Droid. [Android] Offer support for LineageOS/F-Droid · Issue #7027 · brave/brave-browser · GitHub
Yes, I realized that you can install the mullvad app and others. But my complaint is that f droid is becoming the same as play store, they are not giving us options to install compatible apps on a non-compatible device, because it may leave you a little bitter that you can’t install apps like duckduckgo and others, and when the app is released on brave on f droid it may not be compatible with my tablet
To be fair Android 5 was released back in 2014 and went end of life in 2018, except your About screen shows 2016 so it isn’t even the final version of Android 5.
