Hello
It is a usefull app ?
Thanks !!
Start it on your devices… scan codes of each other… share folders between them
What did you try?
what is synchronized with this app?
I don’t have needed to use for the moment, but when I bought a new Android, yes… !
Or with Google it is the same no ?
What’s the option with make difference ?
folders, files in folders
what do you mean Google? what does Google have to do with it?
Rephrase, or say it in your native language?
Je me renseigne ici :
https://docs.syncthing.net/intro/getting-started.html
It transfers folders, say Camers folder with pics, or Downloads or Movies, etc
But NOT app data.
This is between your devices, those that you scanned the code, this does not send your pictures to Google, your proprietary business documents to Google, you downloaded files… to Google.
You use this app so as Google (and the US goverment, or agencies, or their people) don’t get your private files.
This is private between your devices, that you want, that you control, not sent somewhere to some servers from entities that do as they please with your files.
Again, this has nothing to do with Google or any accounts.
F-Droid is not a Google product, it’s not on Google Play, does not have Google apps, etc no Google used or implied.
Apps in F-Droid repositories are installed by the F-Droid client, no Google involved, or used, no account used or needed.
Yes, install on PC, show QR code, scan that code with your phone… so now your files are backuped on your PC.
yes, you are in control of your device not Google
See this for detailed instructions and explanations
And this for problems
It’s a great app
A great app that’s cross platform, Windows, Android and Linux.
