Please tell me how to update all F-droid applications via a computer. I have read different sources and opinions, many users report that updating via a phone and the official F-droid application does not work stably, for a very long time with errors.
It is obvious that it would be faster to update all applications via a computer.
I would not like my question to be misunderstood, I can find several links where users reported unstable operation of the application, but this makes no sense, since there are no ideal programs or something ideally working)
The most important question is, what application exists for a personal computer to update all applications installed on the phone? I know that there are forks of f-droid, but this is for the phone, and what is there for the computer?
If the fdroidcl program could recognize downloaded APK applications and be able to update them, it would be cool)
Sorry, is your idea a joke?
Update Android apps via PC, while you have at least one usable and stable client, because “people say”?
I’ve been using F-droid app (basic version better for me) and haven’t noticed any instability you mention, that “people say”.
I wanted some more modern interface, so I’ve tried another couple clients like G-droid, Neo-store and Droid-ify to finally end up with Droid-ify, that I use on all of my devices (currently 3 but there were more to test). I’m using D-ify on a daily basis since months and would recommend to anyone.
Sorry, I didn’t understand what you mean when you said I was joking?
I checked the fdroidcl program and it works great, that’s what I was looking for. My question was that I want to update all f-droid apps via my computer, not via apps like f-droid, G-droid, Neo-store, Droid-ify.
Hi. Please tell me if I didn’t add different repositories, does the tr program see updates for programs that I want to update, such as IzzyOnDroid or Session or not?
How can I structure the appearance of the fdroidcl command output?
For example, when I enter:
$ fdroidcl search fdroid

com.aefyr.sai.fdroid SAI - 4.5 (60)

How can I make this conclusion look more structured? more understandable and beautiful, if I may say so?
