How to remove annoying GS1 prefix

Dear all

I’ve tried out the F-Droid Barcode scanner for Android and it looks find so far. But there is a showstopper that every Barcode scanner for Android seems to have: They do not remove this annoying GS1 prefix (00). How can I filter this out because every Barcode scanner that put this shit in a line with the Barcode is useless to me, as I mostly use bar- and QR-Code to fill a web for (for example tracking of deliveries). Is this possible with your barcode reader or can you suggest me an alternative barcode reader for android. Preferably open source, as a don’t want to have a piece of shit that bothers me with ads or milks me yearly by money.

which app did you test? F-Droid Search: qr … F-Droid Search: barcode etc

Hi, it was this one: Barcode Scanner, An open-source app that allows you to read and generate barcodes.

Next annoying thing is that can’t find any icons for this app on the Android screen.
