How could I draw the attention of one developer on a flaw?

I have posted the the information to the developer’s github page, upon which I wanted to draw his attention, as an Issue.

It is regarding the software, OCR, by Mr. Shubham Tyagi. The errors in the outputs by the app are on the pics of the sample pages posted by the programmer himself on the information page of the said app in F-Droid.

While conveying my intent to draw the attention of the programmer, it must be informed him that the errors pointed out aren’t supposed to be a negative remark disparaging his software. It must be emphasised that my note only means that there is a scope for improvement which, I am sure, he is fully capable of correcting.

Also that I would eagerly be awaiting an improved version of his app to install in my smartphone.

Just report the issue, there’s no need for extra explanations.

Of course, try to be less emotional about it, don’t offend the dev, don’t talk about their skills and whatnot.

Better yet, provide a fix instead of an issue report. :slight_smile:
