This is a ploy by the DpStt to break the unity of the FSF/FOSS ecosystem. How they plan to do it?: usually, foment a fight between small groups of ABC, DEF, GHI and other influential programmers/designers, fund a section, while sanctioning others, and the projects will do endless forks and divide themselves up even further. In between, forums (or Fora) would form, there will be a leader, while a few chanters would gather around him (or them) and chant and try to out-chant the rest. Then I as one of the members of the DpStt would have stopped funding this group and begin funding the other one and sanction the present.
The fight will continue. None of the FSF/FOSS members will be together for a greater cause for at least some time. In the relative lull I will have a few of my proprietary projects sold out by the time.
Example, Abbyy finereader has an extraorcinary user-friendly interface, but lacks the OCR tool for anything other than a limited Roman scripts. Tesseract does OCR for any kind of the scripts, but the GUI layout and control based on it is horrible.
Coming back, the entire issue has been multiple fights egged on by operators outside the arena who know about those hormone discharging balls. Dream-walkers walk around like zombies, program like LLM-GPT, driven mad like those elephants over-discharging musk, totally missing out the Big Picture, the larger objective, that is.
But who is to listen to a tiny minority like us? The discharge exhorts everyone to act mindlessly without a distant vision.
Then there are still some more who can exhort others to dream about an OS that isn’t yet born, only imagined to be perfect, and people are easily genuflecting, paying obeisance, and chanting, ‘Hail Histler ⋯’
Free space, freedom to post, etc., entice … . Drown, has forever drowned, voices like mine. I have reasons to ponder if a TOEFL/TWE 94-98 percentile scorer would at all comprehend what is blurted out. But no, that is Modernese, and the ones who know most of these lingos are better than an Atanasoff, a Berry, an Einstein, a Bohr, a Schrodinger, a Heisenberg, a Dirac, etc.

P.S.: Users and participants should be aware that the circumstances unraveling/unfolding altogether are at a different level. Plus with internal bias, aptly defined in Bharat as Dasharipu (10 intrinsic biases/flaws), make the life of even the most apparently rational, sane, balanced ones very difficult.
