Are all the apps on fdroid downloaded as apks ? Just getting familur with it still after recently downloading it. Apps tell me to dl from fdroid to recieve any updates but i see no other option to dl but the apk.

Install the client, press the big blue DOWNLOAD F-DROID button: https://f-droid.org/
Then you can use it to install apps.
But yes, apps will come as APKs, that’s the format Android uses.

Yup, all F-droid downloads come as apk files you can delete in your file manager.

No you can’t delete, because the client downloads them to the private data storage and installs them.
