What does the Favorites concept do in the FOSSify File Manager? That is, how can I — or can I — actually navigate to one of the favorites in the main interface? Without such a way, Favorites would seem to be fairly useless …
“it’s work in progress” would be an acceptable answer, even if somewhat disapponting.
I am unable to find the favourites folder. Perhaps it is a menu item from another Fossify app that has not been utilised in File Manager.
Not a special folder. Tapping the star in the top bar when you are looking at the normal folder view makes the current folder a favorite, and this status sticks with the folder. There is even an item in the Settings to “Manage favorites”. But clearly I shouldn’t be expected to go there just in order to normally open a favorite.

Fair enough. Personally I don’t see the point of having favourite files, but I suppose somebody will have a use for the function.
Favorites are not for files but they are for directories.
