Fennec bug: open in external app

Hello,
I’m using latest 104.1.0 build on android 12.
I have enabled open in external apps, and clicked on a link pointing to play store.
( Tanti giochi gratis o in sconto sul Play Store: Three Kingdoms, Good Snowman e tanto altro | SmartWorld )
The link opened into a new tab in fennec, but it should have been opened in the play store app.

But if I install fenix from mozilla (the one on play store) then fennec starts working correctly, ie it opens those links using external apps!

If I uninstall fenix then it still works for a while, then it suddendly stops working again.

Maybe the patches in fennec have removed some url handler or something similar?

Any ideas on how to fix it?

I think this is just the default browser default link opener non-sense of 12?

Maybe you’ve chosen “always open with” for a certain link

After installing fenix from play store my phones didn’t show me the “open with” dialog.
The phones I have tested and that don’t work are Samsung A42 5G with A12, and Samsung A50 with A11.
I laso tested an old samsung running android 8.0 and on that phone works correctly.
